Scope and Content

The file contains information on the Slovak Republic which collaborated with Nazi Germany from 1939-1945. Germany had a very strong influence in Slovakia where they even had a state secretary for German interests. Conditions for Slovakian Jews deteriorated quickly. Many Jews lost their citizenship, had to give up their wealth and would later be deported.
