Scope and Content

The file contains information on the Nazis' view on "Gleichberechtigung" (equality). Several Nazi leaders stated that equality between all countries was necessary for peace to exist. In their opinion, equality meant that every nation receives according to its importance and population a certain portion of the world's land. The Nazis justified the invasion of other countries as a step to reach equality and peace. It was argued that Germany was treated like a second rate country and was entitled to more land.
