Heinz Gollwitzer (1917-1999) was a German historian and professor for newer history at University of Münster. Helmut Gollwitzer (1903 - 1993) was a German theologian and member of the so-called Confessing Church Movement. He wrote a book about his experience as a soldier, later on in Russian captivity. After the war, he taught at Freie Universität Berlin. This document gives information about a Wiener archive's envelope that makes up a collection of newspaper clippings, sermons, pictures and speeches about the two individuals. Official biographical information that was found in the envelope is added to the file.
