Maxim Gorky (1868 - 1936) was a famous Russian poet and socialist as well as a public oppositionist against the Tsarist system. He was a founder of the literary movement socialist realism. This single-page document gives information about a Wiener archive's envelope that makes up a collection of two newspaper clippings; one of them published by "Jewish Echo" in 1948, the other one by the German newspaper "Tägliche Rundschau" in 1955.
