Scope and Content

Walther Schröder was born on November 26, 1902 in Lübeck was a German politician (NSDAP), SS brigade leader as well as police president in Lübeck and as SS and police officer in Latvia, one of the main responsible for the Murder of the Jews in the Reichskommissariat Ostland . In the denazification process , Schröder was only classified as a "follower". Danker and Schwabe describe this classification as "absurd" against the background of the leadership role of Schröder in Schleswig-Holstein and the Reichskommissariat Ostland.
