Louise Dorothea Sophie Schroeder a German SPD politician was born on April 2, 1887 in Altona, Germany. From 1919 she was one of the youngest members and one of the few women of the constitutional Weimar National Assembly, and one of the first female deputies to vote for women. Until the Nazis took over in 1933, they remained Reichstag deputies . After 1945, she was a member of the city council , the Berlin House of Representatives (until February 1, 1952), and from 1949 until her death in 1957, a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. -- Wikipedia (viewed 7.2.2017)
