Scope and Content
Dr. Wladislaw Alexander Dering was the former prisoner doctor at the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz. He was on the list of those wanted for trial by the United Nations War Crimes Commission, and was also wanted by Poland, Czechoslovakia and France. He was awarded one halfpenny damages in the High Court in 1964 for libel in the book "Exodus". -- dossier
