Mathias Defregger was a German Clergy man who served also as the Bishop of Munich between the years 1968 - 1990. In the years 1969-1970 he was on a serial of trials because of his involvement in man slaughter of 17 Italian civilians, while serving as a Wermacht captain in 1944.
