  • Richard Walther Darré was an SS-Obergruppenführer and one of the leading Nazi "blood and soil" ideologists. He served as Reich Minister of Food and Agriculture from 1933 to 1942 -- (Wikipedia). In this position he was responsible, among many other crimes, for the enactment of a systematic policy of starvation of the Jews in Germany. By general decrees he ordered the municipal authorities in Germany to deprive Jews of basic food-stuffs and so he caused a stste of malnutrition among German Jews, to which many of them succumbed -- (from dossier)
