Scope and Content

Max Cohen-Reuss (birth name: Emmanuel Cohen, nickname: Max) was a Jewish born German Socialistic politician, member of the Reich Congress of Councils between the years 1918-1920. In 1920-1933, Cohen-Reuß worked in the Reich Council for Economy and briefly chaired its financial committee. In 1934 he emigrated to France, where he became a journalist. After 1945 he was a Parisian correspondent of several German newspapers. -- archontology.org
