  • Kurt Cohn was a German Jewish judge in Eastern Germany. Since 1934 he had been the chairman of the Central Association of German with Jewish Faith. Cohn was in concentration camp Buchenwald from 1938-1939. After his release he emigrated to England, from where he was deported to Australia. Later on he returned to East Germany and was a member of the LDP (The Liberal Party of East Germany) -- Biographisches Handbuch der deutschsprachigen Emigration nach 1933.
