Montague Burton was the founder and the owner of Burton, one of Great Britain's largest chains of clothes shops. He was born as a Lithuanian Jew (Moshe Osinsky) and emigrated to England alone at the age of 15. He was knighted in 1931 for "services to industrial relations" and was a Justice of the Peace for many years -- (Wikipedia)
