Scope and Content

IG Farben was a German chemical industry conglomerate originally of interest of the the dye industry, but later dealt with the manufacturing of poison gas (including Zyklon B which was used in the gas chambers in the Nazi extermination camps), synthetic oil and rubber and ammunition which feeded the Nazi war machine. The 24 directors and managers of I.G Farben were brought to trial by the Americans in Nurenberg in 1947 accused of planning and preparation for the initiation of aggressive war and invasions of other countries, plunder and spoliation, slavery and mass murder, membership in a criminal organisation (SS) and a common plan of conspiracy to commit all the crimes mentioned -- (dossier and Wikipedia)
