The file is a collection of newspaper clippings based on the original report to Reuters, London, of the eyewitness account by Arye Wallenstein, one of only two foreign based reporters present at Adolf Eichmann’s execution. The newspapers include Haaretz, the Jerusalem Post, Asahi Evening News, The Boston Globe, China Mail, Daily herald, Daily Mirror, El Mundo, France-Soir, Mainichi, Malayan Times, Nanyang Siang Pau, Paese Ser, The Evening News, The Jewish Chronicle and the Yorkshire Evening Post during June 1st to June 8th, 1962. The article recounts the last moments of Adolf Eichmann before he was hanged in the Ramle prison, Israel including his reaction and last words.
