The file contains six circulars (“Rundschreiben”) by the United Restitution Organization (Frankfurt) ranging between October 1973 and January 1974. The circulars include the following issues: no. 1825, no. 1824, no. 1819, no. 1820, no. 1821, and no. 1818. They mainly deal with recent court judgements made by the German Federal Court (Bundesgerichtshof) on questions of restitution after Nazi persecution, especially regarding juridical regulations and procedures for health damages following Nazi persecution, regarding pensions for widows of Nazi victims, and juridical decisions regarding the pogrom in Jassy/Romania.
