The file is the first of two parts of a bilingual booklet printed for the American zone dealing with restitution laws by the military government, Law 59 Resitution of Identifiable Property. It is arranged by various chapters e.g general provisions, limitations on the right to restitution, confiscated property, compensation and ancillary claims, refund and indemnification, filing of claims, judicial and special proceedings, duty to report and penalties, re-establishment of rights of succession and adoption, reinstatement of trade names and of names of associations and final provisions. This copy is the 11th reprint from December 1947 and encompasses 80 pages.
