The file contains the reprint of the article “On Negro-Jewish relations – A contribution to a discussion” by Abraham G. Duker. The document is a reprint from the "Papers and Proceedings of a Conference on Negro-Jewish Relations in the United States" published originally in the journal "Jewish Studies" of January 1965. Duker points out the Jewish efforts on behalf of the African American struggle and criticizes Anti-Semitic positions within the African American community. He calls out for a frank dialogue between the representatives of the African American and the Jewish communities. His lecture was followed by a discussion which included remarks by the historian Horace Mann Bond and sociologist Leo Srole.
