Scope and Content
The file contains three typewritten documents on the British Restitution Laws in the British controlled Zone in Germany. The first document is a law sheet of the British High Commissioner in Germany informing on the legislative change regarding the restitution of assets to victims of Nazi persecution. The second document informs about the same matter, but for the case of Berlin. The third document is a law sheet on the "Gesetz zur Bereinigung des Wertpapierwesens" (Wertpapierbereinigungsgesetz) published by the Economic council of the British Zone.
