[Germany in the 1930s]

The assortment of files contains various single issues of periodicals and extracts from books published in Germany in the 1930s on topics like education, faith, and tourism.The file contains one edition of the journal “Die Bücherei” published by the department for Public Libraries (“Reichsstelle für das Volksbüchereiwesen”) in Germany in 1939. Furthermore, it contains the preface of a book written by Ernst Krieck and entitled “Die deutsche Staatsidee” originally published in 1916. Other documents are one edition of the journal “Glaube und Volk in der Entscheidung” edited by Johann Duken and Gerhard Pfahler, one extract of the journal “Die Bücherei” containing the complete index of the journal’s fifth volume (1938), and finally one issue of the magazine entitled “Germany” published by the German tourism department (“Reichsausschuß für Fremdenverkehr”) in 1939.
