Scope and Content

The file contains the verdict of Stanislaus Slusarski (born on 27 January 1906 in Sędziszów) and his wife Stanislawa Slusarski (born on 25 April 1907). According to a witness the defendant Stanislaus Slusarski criticized the General Government and stated that the Polish youth should rise up. This statement was considered to be hostile towards Germany. Stanislawa Slusarski allegedly said that she hoped that Russian bombs would be dropped on a farmers land. Furthermore, she was accused of cursing people on the street in Polish. Her statements were considered harassment and proved an anti-German attitude. Stanislaus and Stanislawa Slusarski were both found guilty in 1943. Stanislaus Slusarski was sentenced to death. Stanislawa Slusarski was sentenced to one year of penitentiary.
