Scope and Content

The file contains the verdicts of Hermann Lindemann, Hans Sierks, Carl Marks and Wilhelm Senzky. Carl Marks, Hans Sierks and Hermann Lindemann helped hide Fritz Lindemann. Fritz Lindemann was one of the conspirators against Adolf Hitler of the 20 July plot. For their involvement Carl Marks and Hans Sierks were sentenced to death. It was believed that Hermann Lindemann only helped his cousin Fritz because he thought he would commit suicide. Therefore, he was sentenced to ten years of penitentiary. Wilhelm Senzky helped to hide Lindemann but did not know that he was a part of the 20 July plot. He was sentenced to three years of penitentiary.
