Scope and Content

The file contains the verdict of Theodor Ptycia (born on 8 February 1896 in Jelisawietgrad), a mechanic living in Poland. He was accused of distributing two leaflets of the illegal Polish newspaper "Pochodnia". The newspaper speaks in favor of an independent Polish state and criticizes the Nazi regime. A witness testified that he received the leaflets from Ptycia. The defendant denied the claims. Due to a lack of evidence Theodor Ptycia was acquitted of the charge.
