Scope and Content

The file contains the verdict of Franz Novak (born on 2 May 1902 in Trebowel), a man living in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. He was accused of breaking into a house and stealing several items. However, he was caught by residents of the building and arrested. The defendant denied the accusations but was not believed due to the evidence. Furthermore, Novak was convicted of crimes several times before the burglary in 1944. Novak was found guilty and sentenced to death in 1944.
