Extent and Medium
1 online resource (22 pages)
Scope and Content
The file contains press and instruction cuttings regarding the work and propaganda of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German labor front) from the year 1936. Rudolf Hess gave in 1936 a speech about the great work of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront, an other document why there can and may not be any wage increases at the moment. In particular, the question of equalizing wages between better and poorer earners is addressed here. Information about the religious denomination is also provided. With a party member and National Socialist, a religious basic attitude is of course a requirement, without having to have an active religious connection. In addition, it is forbidden to have statistics compiled without the approval of the Hitler or his deputy. Bormann explains also, that it is important to maintain the connections to Austria. Bormann continues to differentiate between appointments to occupations and occupations per se. He also makes the differences between job titles clear. Instructions regarding political propaganda in companies, infiltration of political opponents into companies, short strikes, planned disturbances and absolute stoppage of work are attached. The general support of companies by the German Labor Front and the support of secret manufacturing companies, as well as the acquisition of a membership of the German Labor Front and the pension systems are presented. Furthermore regulations for the employment of young people and women are declared. At the end of the document a map of Die Deutsche Arbeitsfront and its several offices (Gaus) can be seen.
