Scope and Content
The file contains the verdict of Georg Javurek (born on 10 July 1920 in Pisek) and Wenzel Podhola (born on 11 April 1923 in Pisek). They were found guilty of possessing illegal weapons. A former classmate of Georg Javurek called Vitus worked for the illegal communist party from 1940 to 1943. Having been friends since school Vitus sold Georg Javurek a pistol for the low price of only 100 K. As he could not find a proper place to store the gun he collaborated with the codefendant Wenzel Podhola to hide it in his apartment. They were sentenced to death.
