The file contains the verdict of Wladislaus Fortas (born on 10 June 1888 in Kirchhofen), Czeslaw Orlowski (born on 20 April 1921 in Sandhof) and Josefa Golembiowski (born on 10 February 1906 in Schroettersburg). In the evening of 30 March 1942, Wladislaus Fortas drove to Czeslaw Orlowski where they illegally slaughtered – they did not report to the authorities nor planned to pay taxes. Fortas bought half of the 70 Kilograms for 3.50 RMK per kg. Then, he resold said meat to Josefa Golembiowski for 5 RMK per kg. The defendants were found guilty of an economic war crime. Wladislaus Fortas was sentenced to death. Czeslaw Orlowski was sentenced to spend two years in a penitentiary. Josefa Golombiewski was punished with one year in a penitentiary.
