Scope and Content
The file contains abstracts of correspondences of Toedtli. The correspondences are from 1934 till 1936 and contain several topics and documents. Several abstracts based on letters for and from Toedtli can be seen, the topics of the abstracts vary a lot, some are just about general information exchange, others are about salary requirements, cooperations with the Welt-Dienst, informations about the Nationale Front and requests from Toedtli to Fleischhauer regarding his work in the Welt-Dienst. Also original documents of the Nationale Front can be seen, in those the question of a new leader (Gauleuten) for the Kontan Bern has been discussed. Furthermore abstracts of letters from Toedtli adressed to de Pottere, regarding the economic conditions of the Nationale Front Bern and the Welt-Dienst can be seen. Also informations concerning the Bern trial are attached. Documents showing that Lifschitz got the files for the Bern trial, signed by Walter Meyer can be seen. Antisemitic pamphlets and leaflets against antisemitic movements are also part of the correspondence of Toedtli.
