Scope and Content
The file contains several letters adressed to the Völkischer Beobachter Wiena and the responds of the newspaper, further newspaper cuttings of the Völkischer Beobachter Wiena can be seen. One reader of the Völkischer Beobachter Wiena complained in 1939 about the absence of professionality when authors wrote their articles and their reports, the quotations and the informations itself were not correct. In addition they used wrong datas and old books for comparisons. As the reader argues, these are mistakes which will help their enemies to undermine the newspaper and further erode National Socialism and its ideas. The Völkischer Beobachter Wiena was published the first time in 1938 as a journalistic party organ of the NSDAP.
