Most of the clippings are from the magazine the 'Aufbau', which is the name of a German-Jewish newspaper founded in 1934 and until 2004 it was based in New York. The word 'Aufbau', whose English form 'Reconstruction' temporarily served as subtitle, meant the renewal of German-Jewish life in the USA. In this edition the main subject was the dialectic Jewry (Dialektisches Judentum) and general news regarding Jewish communities. Furthermore advertisments for pruducts from Palestine and the United states can be seen. Also advertisments for Jewish shops and other gatherings are published.
