Scope and Content
Itemized letter from Markov stating that he is willing to serve as expert or witness on the trial, and suggests that both roles should be combined. He wishes to know how long each testimony will have, since his requires large amounts of time, and he is concerned the judges may cut it off. Furthermore he wishes to know whether other witnesses of his type, ones that provide testimonies with proof from Jewish texts and sources, will be present and if so suggests that witnesses coordinate among themselves, since disparity of versions would harm the cause. He wishes to know whether citations from the Bible and the Talmust and other Jewish writings may be allowed to bolster his testimony. The letter is followed by a brief summary in French. He wishes to provide his testimony in German to later be duplicated.
