The main idea is to show the difference between "socialism" people expected and "national socialism". Most important in this difference is that the state under Hitler took its dominance and prerogative of the economic power back. As the author argues, the economy shoud not lead the state and the people but the other way around. The relation between state, people and economy changed and will gain the expected success.
