Scope and Content

Decree about the restriction of residency in German and Polish, issued by Frank from 13.9.1940. A decree ordered by the sub-district Commander of Cracow area about the restriction of residency for Jews. A letter of the governor of Warsaw district Fischer to Frank asking for an ammendment to the restriction of residency. Fischer asks to allow unrestricted fines and death penalty. The request together with a statement is forwarded to several offices. The Leader of the SS and police sends a positive answer. Frank sends a draft for a updated decree for the restriction of residency to the main department of inner administration. Unrestricted fine and death penalty are not approved.
