Scope and Content

The file contains a report of Mr. Werner Levie, chairman of the Kulturbund, proposing the establishment of a Kulturbund branch in Vienna to Hans Hinkel, member of the ministry of propaganda. The report is written in German and dated on the 24th of January 1939. The branch in Vienna shall follow the example of the Jüdischer Kulturbund in Germany. It should also publish a newspaper, organize lectures and concerts for the Jewish community in Vienna.
