Scope and Content
Documents about the cooperation of the civil administration in Lublin with the staff of operation Reinhard. Notice of a conversation of Reuter from the department population and welfare of the administration in Lublin with Hoefle from the SS on 16.3.17. Hoefle, Globocnic's deputy, seeks cooperation with deportations from Lublin district and the resettlement of Jews from the Reich. Hoefle seeks assistance in selections. It gets clear from the notice that the SS was about to send Jews to be killed in Belzec. Another notice is about a meeting of Tuerk from the department with Pohl from the SS. The meeting is about deportation of Polish Jews and resettlement of Jews from the Reich. Tuerk states that the forced laborers should not be deported yet. Another document reveals how Tuerk and Reuter visit local administrators to inform them about the ongoing action and the action to come. The sub-district commander of Zamosc tells about the construction of a camp near Belzec. Documents about the numbers of Jews to be deported and Jew from the Reich to be resettled in the same places. Report about the replacement. Several exchanges between the district administration in Lublin and sub-district Commanders about lists of places and how many Jews there are for deportation. Notices and requests of sub-district Commanders concerning deportations and resettlements to be forwarded to the SS staff. Monthly report March 1942 of the administration in Lublin dealing among others with the deportatins and resettlements.
