Scope and Content
The file contains an english edition of a planning calender of 1975. In this calender Mr. Herman Rubin wrote a list of survivor or dead members of the National Socialist party in Germany. He compiled privately a list of Nazis, who he presumed were still alive in 1975. Furthermore a correspondence between Mr. Rubin and the 'Institute of Contemporary History and Wiener Library in London' and the 'Institut für Zeitgeschichte' is attached. Mr. Rubin wrote this institutions to inform them about his privatly compiled list of living Nazis who were important or contributed something to their notoriety. As he did not have further sources, the list does not include anything else but the names. He wanted to contibute his list to this institutions and hoped that they would continue and expand his research.
