Scope and Content
The file contains several examples of Nazi propaganda used in books and calenders. Also documents of orders by Robert Ley, head of the German Labour Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF), to buy these books or calenders are presented. The Nazis and sympathizers published many books, such as the handbook 'Deutsches Volk in Arbeit und Wehr' (German nation in work and defence) by Karl August Walther. Published by the 'Verlag Hans Wilhelm Rödiger' in 1938. Or the 'Wehrmacht Kalender' (calender of German Armed Forces), which was also used as a propaganda tool. Companies, factories and privat person were called upon to buy those, either for their own joy or for friends, collegues and employees.
