[Announcements and existence in Lodz]

The file contains graphics of the population change and a map of the residential Jewish neighborhood of Litzmannstadt-Getto (Lodz ghetto) in the year 1941. In addidion announcements of Chaim Rumkowski, the head of the Council of Elders in the Lodz Ghetto, and Hans Biebow, who was the chief of German Nazi administration of the Lodz Ghetto in occupied Poland, can be seen. The announcements involve regulations of the daily life in the ghetto. For example meetings, regulation of money and food supply and notifications for executions. Furthermore postcards and a telegram of former inmates of the Lodz ghetto (Litzmanstadt) are contained.
