The file contains a brochure of the Deutscher Ausländer Dienst (German Foreigners' Service) about the 'welcome to Germany' service. It was established in 1935 as an individual service for helping travelers from other countries, to find all the sights without loss of time and to locate those features of interest that each disire most to find. The Deutscher Ausländer Dienst was free of charge and used as a propaganda tool for the Third Reich. Besides the service regularly published informations called 'Germany and you' about social, cultural, economic, scientific and political developments. The purpose was to broaden their propaganda. Besides an information leaflet for the German Railways for a safe and comfort traveling around Germany has been published. It is explained how the railway system in Germany works and how the Nazi extended and improved the railway tracks. Furthermore a broshure of German universities and colleges is contained in the file. Universities around Germany and faculties are discribed. Pictures, informations and advices for studying in Germany are given.
