Scope and Content
The file has five different documents. The first document is a letter from the Reich adoption authority (Reichs-Adoptionsstelle) regarding the development of a boy in his new family. The second document is a list of the Lebensborn Camps in Germany, Austria, Luxemburg and Belgium. The third and 4th are identification documents of translators (Herbert H. Meyer / Charles E. Ippen) and the last document is a letter from H. Auerbach from the Institute of Contemporary history ( Institut für Zeitgeschichte) addressed to Richard Grünberger in London. The letter is from 1962 and about the research project "Association Lebensborn of the SS" (Verein Lebensborn, e.V. der SS) and its results at that point.
