Scope and Content

The file contains a letter by Philip Graves to Mr. Dawson. Mr. Graves was an Irish journalist and writer. While working as a foreign correspondent for The Times in Constantinople, he exposed The Protocols of the Elders of Zion in 1921 as an antisemitic plagiarism, fraud and hoax. In this letter he shares his idea of writing a book about his exposure of the Protocols. He further explains how he exposed the Protocols briefly. He also discusses the question of copy rights concerning his book idea about the Protocols. Using the material he used while exposing them for the Times, would the book be still property of the Times? He also asked for economical advice regarding a publishing company and working conditions.
