Scope and Content
The file contains a short letter (dated to 12th October 1937 [?] in Amsterdam) addressed to "Mr "and "Mrs" by the Jewish Central Information Office. It informs them about an extract from an article regarding the Antisemitic Congress, which has lately taken place in Erfurt, Germany, published in IL REGIME FASCISTA in Cremone, and signed by J. Evela. This abstract was also sent with the letter. The JCIO wishes to stay anonymous about the further use of that information. Furthermore an abstract about J. Evela and the Congress in Erfurt is attached. In this abstract the events of the Congress have been presented. Additionally information about the participants of the congress has been given. 22 religious and political leaders from several countries discussing topics like the negation of Jews, Free Masons, Communism and other religious aspects. Also the verdict of the Bern trial from 1934-1935 was discussed, in order to use the Bern trial and the Protocols for propaganda purposes. Information about the Welt-Dienst, its history and its goals are also given.
