Scope and Content
The file contains an article titled “Les protocoles des Sages de Sion” from the newspaper Paix et Droit (no. 24?) which aims to demonstrate that nor the Protocols neither their alleged authors are Jewish and that they are a fake created around 1900 by Russia secret police against Judaism. The article reminds the origin of the fake which was established by the documents published in Paix et Droit in February, March, April, May and September 1921. The Protocols are based on the book Dialogue aux Enfers entre Machiavel et Montesquieu, published by Maurice Joly in 1865 in Bruxelles, which was written against the imperial politics of Napoleon III. The article gives detailed information about Joly’s birth, genealogy and baptism in order to demonstrate that he is not Jewish, and brings extracts from his autobiography and the history of his book.
