Scope and Content
The file contains 3 letters from the 17th, 18th and 19th of January 1936 and belong to the project of the - Verfilmungsprojekt "Die Protokolle der Weisen von Zion"- Korrespondenz 1936, by the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, Archiv für Zeitgeschichte. One letter is a report on the visit to the American Jewish Committee an January 17, 1936. Mr. Paul M. Blum and Mr Hoffmann, who is his partner in New York, went to see Mr Waldman to explain him the mission. The other correspondence is between Saly Mayer and the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities concerning antisemitic publications of the U. Bodung-Verlag in Switzerland. Opportunities for a statement are discussed, although for the moment neither a trial nor brochures are eligible. Only the trivialization of the opposing publications is regarded as a possibility.
