Scope and Content
The file contains a summary and information about the work 'Sigilla Veri- Encyclopedia of the Jews, -comrade and counterparts of all times and zones, especially Germany, the doctrines, customs, tricks and statistics of the Jews and their argot, assumed names, secret societies, etc.' Which among other things leads a listing of Jewish, communist and hostile German citizens. The U. Bodung publishing house in Erfurt issued 4 extensive volumes, which are sent only to non Jews. Furthermore, these volumes are not available in bookstores, which is why an instruction is attached for the libraries. In order to obtain a volume, a statement must first be signed declaring that you are neither a Jew, nor that you have any intention of giving away or selling the book. Then general informations are given about the book. For example the 112 pages of antisemitic introduction, the excuse if someone is listed in the lexicon who is not a Jew or a comrade and the assurance that all informants and information will be treated absolutely confidential. Because only so it is possible to grasp the whole extent of Judaism. The purpose of the lexicon is 'in the service of the sacred law of the race' to expose the crimes and the Jews themselves. In 9 chapters antisemitic views, ideologies and propaganda are revealed.
