Scope and Content
The file contains the eighth and ninth Bulletin from a series of Bulletins dealing with events in the Bern trial. It has been published by the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities in Switzerland. This Bulletin is regarding the fifth day of trial on the 3rd of Mai 1935. Since autumn 1934 the trial has been prepared in order to hear the case of the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion'. At this day the eighth and ninth sessions were opened by judge Walter Meyer. Also in the eighth session Fleischhauer continued his expertise. In this session he started to present the topic of the ritual murder, although he knew that there was no direct connection between the trial and the ritual murder, he still wanted to explain it. Furthermore he questioned some witnesses.
