Scope and Content
The file contains documents and criminal complaints issued by attorney Georges Brunschvig in the name of the 'Schweizerischer Israelischer Gemeindebund und Kultusgemeinde Bern' against the 'Gauleitung des Bundes Nationalistischer Eidgenossen' as well as against unknown for violation of the prohibition regarding trash literature. This complaint is addressed to the judge of Bern. It is being sued for the fact that on June 13th 1933, the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion' were sold at the meeting of the National Front. Not only is this document a forgery and used only to spread anti-Semitic propaganda and incite popular masses against Jews, it also contains perfidious allegations against Judaism, so Brunschvig argues. In the index of this documents the publisher declares, that there is no doubt about the authenticity of the 'Protocols', which is an absolute lie. Furthermore Brunschvig explains that every two weeks the newspaper of the 'Bundes Nationalsozialistischer Eidgenossen' is publishing new anti-Semitic informations and propaganda based on the 'Protocols'. In addition documents regarding the first preparations for the Bern trial are attached.
