Scope and Content
Letter from Rev. Gleb Verkhovskiĭ, who testifies that his father, Evgeniĭ Verkhovskiĭ, was closely associated with a group surrounding Sergeĭ Sharapov and his publication Russkiĭ Trud, the "Sharapov Group" which opposed vehemently Witte's gold standard reform. The letter mentions several members of the group, among them Paul Ol. Afanasi Vasiliev and Butni de Katzman, a lieutenant of the imperial guards. The author claims that Butni brought the protocols with him after he returned from France, following the Dreyfus trial. He claims that is the true source fo the protocols in Russia.
