The file contains reports and newspaper cuttings from 1934. The file belongs to the Verfilmungsprojekt "Die Protokolle der Weisen von Zion" by the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich; Archiv für Zeitgeschichte; Zeitungsberichte von 1903 bis 1935. The Jewish Chronicle published on June 22nd, 1934 an article by Dr. J. Brutzkus: The Elders of Zion- History of the forged Protocols, in which he describes the public interest, which has been recently awakened to the notorious forgeries "The protocols of the wise man of Zion". As the author argues, the source of the new appearance and distribution of the Protocols is the German Ministry for Propaganda, Alfred Rosenberg, who is in charge of German foreign policy has been for some time engaged on the Protocols. Additionally he explains the history and authorship of the Protocols.
