The file contains correspondences from May till August 1937. The file is the second part of the Verfilmungsprojekt "Die Protokolle der Weisen von Zion" by the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich; Archiv für Zeitgeschichte. The topics in the letters concern, among other things, the assumption of costs and the publication of court material after the Bern trial. In some correspondences it is discussed how to deal with the court material and if more material should be collected for future use. Furthermore the manuscript of Iwan Heilbut, who was a journalist and writer, is discussed. Inspired by the Bern trial, he wrote the script "Die Protokolle der Weisen von Zion und ihre Anwendung in der heutigen Weltpolitik." (The Protocols of the wise man of Zion and their application in today's world politics), the original title was "Hitler, der Weise von Zion bist Du!" or "Die öffentlichen Verleumder". Many people thought it could be a good way to deal with all the antisemitic publications during and after the Bern trial and be a response to the instrumentalization of the Bern trial, which was used as an anti-Semitic instrument and stage for Nazi propaganda. So its publication, distribution and funding are discussed in the letters, later it has been published with the help of Georg Brunschvig and the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities. Other correspondences exchange informations about the Protocols of the Wise man of Zion and the Bern trial in general and discuss further material concerning the Bern trial, like the book of Maurice Joly. Furthermore letters of the Schweizerischen Israelischen Gemeindebund (Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities) and the Israelischen Kultusgemeinde Bern are attached. In addition handwritten letters and telegrams are presented.
