Scope and Content

The file contains correspondences and reports regarding the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion. N. E. Gewakhoof wrote a book about Nilus, was working on the 'protocols' and was in touch with the 'Institut zum Studium der Judenfrage' (Institute for the Study of the Jewish Question). Furthermore he published several anti-Semitic articles in French and Russian Newspapers. Also transcripts and translated articles of Leslie Frey regarding the authenticity of the 'Protocols' are attached. Lesley Fry (pen-name of Paquita de Shishmareff ), who in her book 'Waters Flowing Eastward' claimed that the 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion' were the master plan of a conspiracy according to which a group led by "cultural Zionist" Asher Ginzberg plotted world domination. Furthermore other documents and transcripts of authors regarding the 'Protocols' can be seen. Some are related to a correspondence with Fleischauer, others were published in Russian or French and here contained as a German translation. Some assuming that Asher Ginzberg was the author of the 'Protocols' and eventhough it was already proven that the forgery of the 'protocols' were copied from Joly, the explanations have been, that this does not mean that the 'protocols' are a forgery, it could also just mean that Asher Ginzberg copied from Joly some sentences but it would not lessen the authenticity of the 'protocols'
